I know there are thousands of reviewers on social media that you can follow and trust , but I wanted to show how a regular user like me choose his next mobile phone.
First I’ve tried technically 4 to 5 operating systems: -iOS -Blackberry OS (tills os 7) -Android -WindowsPhone -Symbian (RIP)
Why I love iOS:
1- While many will disagree with me, but I love the fact that iOS is a closed source system unlike Android because it keeps the os controlled and fresh.
2-Synchronizing is a very special thing for me in iOS and I know that it is also available on Android using Google services, but the fact that I have an iPad and a Mac makes it easier to have an iPhone. And no I am not an iSheep.
3-Continuity: Apple’s strongest point is continuity. They keep updating the OS and they listen to what people say. Unlike android they create hardware for their software. They study well every next update (Except os 8.0.1)
4-Apps: I love the iOS app eco system. I know that the majority exits on other platforms but every app always starts at Apple’s app store: like Instagram, Hyperlapse and many others.
Why I love iPhones:
1-Because of iOS Strength points already discussed.
2-Hardware-wise: Apple masters hardwares: They create pieces of Art. Period.
3-New Screen Sizes (4.7’ for me is perfect)
4-Vast choice of accessories.
What I hate about my iPhone 6:
1-Its resemblance to every iPhone I already bought.
2-I like closed-source OS but also dislike it when coming to downloading songs or files or etc…
3-Battery Life
4-Keyboard Lag in my iPhone 6**
**Other handsets seems fine
Why I didn’t pick the Note 4:
1-Because, for me, Samsung’s hardware are not for me.
2-I just hate TouchWiz
3-Big screen (although I love it but it's not practical for me as an engineering student)
At the end, this is my personal point of view and I respect every other one.
Mobile phones are so personal ,so taste and choice differ from one individual to another.
